FINALLY FriYAY! It seems like the longest week in history this week, so it is safe to say I am feeling that Friday feelin'. I teach 3rd grade special ed, and it seems like the 3rd graders this week have had worse behavior in 5 days than they have ALL YEAR LONG! How does that work?!??!? Don't get me wrong, I love these kiddos, but all I can say is TGIF. The worst thing is next week we have a time change and Friday the 13th.... and later this month we have state testing. Prayers for all teachers in the month of March. Cheers! Have a great weekend everyone.

Some weeks are like that, aren't they? And I had forgotten about Friday the 13th - it's the day before our March Break starts. Oh my. One of my colleagues always has an explanation for weeks like this: full moon, Mercury in retrograde... here's hoping that this week was just a freak of astrological phenomenon and next week they will all be back to their delightful selves. In the meantime - you wrote! - give yourself a pat on the back & enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteI saw a meme on Facebook about how this week we have daylight savings time, a full moon, AND Friday the 13th. So if kids are extra off the hook, as my mom would say, maybe that's why!
