SOL20 Day 18

First Day Off of Work:

Well my first day off of work was productive! I woke up (after sleeping in a bit) and did my typical morning routine. After that I went to my gym- I know they are supposed to be closed, but mine is a very small family owned gym and they stopped holding their classes, but are low-key keeping the "doors unlocked" and letting very small groups of people they know come in....and of course we are sanitizing absolutely everything after we use it! After a good sweat sesh I came home and played with my doggy a bit- he is only 1 so I had to get some of his energy out before putting him in his kennel again. Then I left my house and grocery shopped! I love Aldi, and our small town does not have one, so sometimes I take a trek to Rice Lake, WI, and today was one of those days. It is an hour away, so I was gone from home almost all day after my workout. I stocked up on some groceries (don't worry I wasn't one of those panicking people that left nothing for others), but I am confident that we have enough food to last us a couple weeks if we were to get quarantined- crazy to think about!! Now I am sitting at home, about to walk the pupper, and have a roast going in the crockpot.

  1. A roast in the crockpot is a good plan. Glad to hear that you have groceries and are planning to stay safe. We're all into social distancing up here, but I just found out that I may have been hanging out with a friend who may have been exposed.... we shall see. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

    1. 😳
I’ve had nightmares about having COVID-19 and transmitting it to others.

  2. Glad you’re not a hoarder. Those who hoard upset me. I hope you post a picture of the pup before March ends. We don’t have Aldi here, so I don’t know what I’m missing, I guess. Do you have an InstantPot? I roasted a chicken in mine tonight. I was in shock when I saw the chicken weighed over 12 pounds. We’ll get at least three dinners out of that bird. It came from Costco, and I’m wondering how it got so fat!
