SOL20 Day 13
I am currently looking out my living room window at the lake I live on. You guessed it, I see white. We’ve got a long time till this baby thaws, but tonight I’m feeling anxious for summer looking out at it. I can’t wait for all the boat rides to come this summer on this beautiful lake. I’m excited to go fishing with my fiancé and dad. And I can’t wait to have days off from teaching and being able to justify throwing a ball and watching my dog jump off the dock for hours on end (seriously that guy can swim for hours straight). Tonight I’m feeling excited and thankful for summer coming and this awesome lake! Happy Friday Eve!
The lake, the boating, the dog swimming, all of this sounds idyllic. Summer will be here before we know it. I’m restless, too.

My parents live on a lake & it really is delightful, especially with a dog. Feels like Spring is coming early this year - you, your fiance and your dog will be out there soon!
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice little slice of life! I alway marvel at how quickly the lakes thaw. So much ice, and then BAM open water. My friend used to track this every year and said she knew, no matter the weather, the ice would always be out by around April 22, give or take a week. Now when it feels like summer will never arrive I count down to April 22 when the ice will be gone.
